We adopt an integrative approach to couples counselling, using depth psychology and systemic elements that reflect our qualifications and philosophy. To support in this process, we also apply scientifically established test methods. Our counselling approach is based on the following principles:
- in order to ensure the necessary impartiality of counselling and to maintain balance between the views of the individual partners, we always hold “couple to couple” sessions, supplemented by one-on-one appointments.
- At the heart of our counselling is the attempt to uncover individual patterns and intergenerational loyalties. Doing so deepens mutual understanding and equips our clients to avoid – or more easily – resolve potential conflicts.
- After analysis, joint processing and optimisation of communication patterns, we support the couple in clarifying their conflicts constructively and independently.
- We develop and communicate individual skills and tools so that the couple have practical and durable resources for their everyday relationship.
We also counsel multicultural relationships (in German, English or French, if necessary) and same-sex couples.
